About the Competition: Rhythm of Asia is a prestigious platform designed to celebrate the rich and diverse dance heritage across Asia. We aim to discover exceptional talent, foster cultural exchange, and promote the art of dance on an international stage.
Competition Stages:
- Stage 1: Online Selection (Video Submission)
- Registration & Submission Period: August 1 - September 30, 2025
- Participants must submit a high-quality video (3-5 minutes) of their dance performance.
- Detailed video submission guidelines will be provided upon registration.
- Stage 2: Grand Final (Live Performance in Singapore)
- Dates: January 9-11, 2026
- Selected finalists from the online stage will be invited to perform live in Singapore.

- Asian Traditional Dance (Solo/Duet & Group)
- Asian Contemporary Dance (Solo/Duet & Group)
- New Asian Creative Dance (Solo/Duet & Group)
Participant Age Categories
- Junior Category (Ages 8 - 12 years old)
- Description: This category is for young dancers who show potential and passion in the art of dance. The judging focus will be more on fundamental techniques, simple expression, and developmental potential.
- Special Condition: Must be accompanied by a parent/guardian or responsible coach throughout the entire Grand Final process in Singapore.
- Youth Category (Ages 13 - 17 years old)
- Description: This category is for teenage dancers who already possess a strong technical foundation and are beginning to develop their personal style and emotional depth. Higher levels of creativity are expected.
- Senior Category (Ages 18 years old and above)
- Description: This is the main category for adult dancers who are expected to demonstrate mature technical mastery, profound expression, originality, and professionalism. This will be the most competitive category.
- Eligibility: Open to dancers from all Asian countries.
